We are proud to introduce you to our newest stud cat, Azure Seas Sunset. This delightful boy is co-owned by Lorimnailie Siamese, Orientals, & Bi-Colours, Chrestomanci Siamese & Orientals and Schimmel Orientals. Azure Seas Sunset lives in the Schimmel home although he is visited often by his other 2 mummies.

Even though Azure Seas Sunset is still a baby and has been with us for a very short while, we have fallen head over heels in love with him and he has the more adoring purr. Already he has a new "best friend" in the form of Tsipouro, our other Oriental Stud cat. There is only 10 day's difference in age between the 2 boys and it's lovely to see them playing together and sleeping curled up with each other. Of course when Ly Shan joins in the fun it is complete and utter bedlam. We are stunned at just how quickly Azure settled into our home and within the space of a week he made it perfectly clear that he was "part of the gang". All of our own cats accepted him straight away and it is as if he has always been here. Being an Oriental Blue, he is such a gentle soul, as all Blues are, yet he can be extremely mischievous when he is in the mood and when he and Tsipouro get together, it's best to keep out of their way. He is also a very cuddly and loving kitten and is a joy to have in our home.

Azure Seas Sunset has the most amazing temperament and is such a credit to his breeder. When Julie and I first visited his breeder, we fell in love with all of Jane's babies, as well as her adult cats. It is always fantastic to see kittens who have been bred by someone who puts welfare of the cats and babies first and it was so very obvious to us both just how much Jane loves her cats and babies. Every feline member of her home was in superb condition and full of health and vitality. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Mind you, it's a wonder that Jane did say yes because Julie's behaviour during the visit was far from impeccable ;) ;)

When our Blue boy comes of age, we believe that he will be a fantastic addition to all 3 of our breeding programs. Azure Seas Sunset is an out cross to all of our own cats and with his temperament, beautiful blue colouring, and the lines behind him, we are hopeful of some very special, healthy, babies sired by him. Julie, Gwen, and ourselves have a huge love for the Blues and we do believe that this boy will be able to take us so much further in our breeding program.

Just like Tsipouro, Azure Seas Sunset is at Closed stud, for the use of Schimmel, Chrestomanci, and Lorimnailie. On a breeding level, there are so many benefits to having Azure Seas Sunset in our home because this does mean we are now a "Closed" household in that we do not take any of our girls to outside boys, nor do we buy in cats, and we will no longer home kittens for breeding.

We would like to say a very grateful thank you to his breeder, Jane of Kamkai Siamese & Orientals for placing her trust in us and allowing one of her very special children to join our home and our breeding program. When buying in new blood lines, the first thing we look for is health, followed by temperament, we also look for a line that is not "over used" (extremely hard to find!!!) and his dam has relatively unknown, and rather interesting lines. Once we've found the right baby, we then have to convince the breeder that we can offer the right home and breeding environment for the baby that they have loved and cared for. In Jane, we found all of this and so much more. We can not thank Jane enough for all she has done and we know that as he matures and develops, Azure Seas Sunset will make his first mummy very proud.
