Introduction ~ Kahlua ~ Tia Maria ~ Thyme ~ Boleyn

The Schimmel Rainbow bridge is a section that we always hoped we would never have to produce, although in our minds we knew we would, none of us expected it to be so soon.

On July 21st 2005, the first signs of the rainbow appeared through our tears as Boleyn, one of the first ever Schimmel Kittens, passed away from cancer. Just 5 days on and we had to bid a final farewell to another Schimmel Baby, on this occasion Thyme, whom we had fought so hard to keep going from birth and on her return to us a mere three months later, had little life left to give and the humane thing had unfortunately become the only option.

Now just a further 24 hours later, our beloved Princess Tia has left us, to mother the Schimmel babies over the rainbow.

All three will be dearly missed, all had their own unique personalities and qualities. One wonders why such fate should fall upon babies who have done nothing to deserve their loss of loving owners and warm hearts. We can only presume that they are required to attend and assist in far greater needs.

We hope that it will be a long time before we have to add to this section, but we live in the safe knowledge that when the time comes they will never be alone.

Our babies have gone,
But will never leave us,
There presence is missing,
But will never be lost,
Our hearts are broken,
But they will always be filled with love,
Our memories will remain,
And their legacy's will live on
