Originally we had no intentions at all of keeping Xaica, solely because almost from birth we had made the decision to keep her sister, Xanath. As time went by, our friends were telling us to keep Xaica, we were getting a lot of inquiries for her from other breeders and so we made the decision to keep her as well. In reality it makes extremely little sense to have kept 2 Black Spotted sisters from the same litter however, each girl has their own special attributes, and both sisters have phenomenal temperaments.

Xaica is a real "in your face" baby and when Xaica wants something, she does not hesitate to make her presence known. She will come up to us, put her face as close to ours as possible, and then the dialogue begins. This lady does like the sound of her own voice and she is fully aware that the moment she opens her mouth, her needs and desires will be met. Just like her dad, she exudes a huge amount of confidence and she always gets what she wants.

Every time I look at Xaica I am taken aback by her beautiful head shape yet, she just takes my breath away. Of course, whether or not the judges see what I do when I look at her will remain to be seen :)

I have a feeling that as Xaica matures, she will eventually become an adult cat with a mind of her own and there will be times when she tries our patience, but then, she is an Oriental after all. We really are thrilled to bits to have Xaica in our home and in our lives and she is an absolute treasure.
