No breeder ever started out "knowing it all" or was able to breed without help from mentors. The thing about breeding is that you continue to learn something new all of the time, no matter how many babies you produce. It is essential that all breeders have a support network that they can go to for advice and help. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have had (and still have) a number of wonderful breeders along the way to help us. Some breeders stand out in particular and they are:

Teen and Tone of Maroochydore Siamese & Orientals - I don't know where to start with Teen and Tone. Teen is my breeding mentor, one of my best friends, and has been there for me every step of the way. I've cried countless tears down the phone to Teen and whenever anything has gone wrong she has been there for me 200%, as has Tone. Tone has also been incredibly kind and generous with his time and "building" skills. We couldn't ask for better friends than Teen and Tone.
Julie of Lorimnailie Siamese, Orientals and Bicolours - Julie has been an amazing friend and a huge support when it comes to breeding issues. There hasn't been a single time when Julie has not been there and we are honoured to have a Schimmel baby in the Lorimnailie home.
Gwen of Chrestomanci Siamese & Orientals -Gwen, again where do I start? Gwen is funny, amazing, one of the most supportive people I know and we have a very special relationship. Gwen and I even go so far as to say that we share the same brain cell. Life without Gwen's phone calls and emails would not be much of a life at all.
Kate of Kaypez Siamese - Kate has been a tremendous support in the time that we have been friends.
Doreen and Keith of Zeppelin/Fleic/Turbo Siamese & Orientals - Dor and Keith were kind enough to allow us into stud with our Oriental girl, Cacao and it is thanks to Dor and Keith that our Oriental line has gone on to do so well. Not only that, Dor has always been available to answer any questions I have and to advise me when I have a problem or am unsure of something
Donna of Chinasea Siamese & Orientals (no longer breeding) - It is thanks to Donna that we were able to produce the wonderful Oriental cats that we have as Cacao was bred by Donna.

We are extremely grateful for their help, advice and support in our breeding program.

Special thanks must also go to my husband Graham, and our daughter, Mo, for putting up with all the long telephone calls, the endless time spent on the computer, the sleepless nights, the short temper when things go wrong, and for all the help they give me throughout it all. Without them and their support, I would never have been able to breed these wonderful cats.
