"Hermione has settled in remarkably well - she did some lovely things last night and I was so tempted to ring you!!! Basically, once night fell, I think she became more comfortable, and was generally happy to venture out into the flat. She prefers it when I get down on the floor by my bed and call out to her - she gives a pitiful little meow (sometimes) and then comes out. She purrs to beat the band at all times. Then when I went out to on the sofa to watch a little telly - she eventually came out and jumped on the sofa and cuddled with me - it was the sweetest thing!!! Also, because one of the heaters is closest to that sofa, she eventually curled up on the top of the sofa between my back and the heater, and had a little doze! It may be too soon to tell, but she seems very comfortable and will be the new queen of this flat by the weekend!!! :) Hermione has a beautiful temperament and is everything a kitten should be - I am really really thrilled to have her and think she is settling in OK - fantastic in fact!"
