"Just a quick Hello, cause I know you are out at the show today (hope sage is doing well!)

Well, we got Abingdon home. Bless him, he bitched at us all the way - stopping only to add a little scent of his own to my smelly t-shirts - if you know what I mean ;

He is GORGEOUS. A bit lost and still looking for the rest of his family, which is to be expected, but letting us comfort and cuddle him all the same. In fact, when some one leaves the room he gets upset!

He is eating well. But no poos yet... let's hope it happens in the litter tray when it comes!

I'm sure by Monday he will be feeling happier. Till then I will continue to shower him with cuddles and baby-chat.

Will get a camera and send lots of pictures soon."

"What a good day we have had! He is settling in so fast! I think scrambled eggs and pilchards helped him feel super-welcome last night - I certainly got lots of love in return.

We have poo! In the litter tray! I am so ludicrously happy about that.

Abingdon is super cuddly and loves sleeping in our bed - transfering himself from neck to neck as he pleases for maximum purr power in the ear and breath pong up our noses. He woke us up prompty at 6.20 this morning and screamed the house down - STILL HERE!? WHERE'S MY FAMILY!!!!????? But he soon settled into a game of chase the ribbon. Followed by looking plaintively at his food bowl until I got the hint. There are two bowls of biscuits out for him - but he knows we have the good wet stuff in the cupboard and he'll have that - thank you very much!

He LOVES his radiator bed. And not having to share it I think ;) It was the first place he peed when we got him home - just letting us know it was his I guess! Now that it is clean and fresh again, there's no shifting him from it when the heating is on.

The children adore him and he is so not fased by them - unless they are wrestling (v. loud) and then he hides under the kitchen cabinets - great hiding place as we cannot get to him! He will soon learn that they don't expect him to wrestle:)

Taz has gone ga-ga. He is trying to tough it out, but i see him sneaking him kisses - yes kisses on his little face - and promising him he will be protected all his life.

I am super chuffed though because he really does seem to respond to me the most. I am the only one who can talk him out of his hiding place and he come to me for cuddles without me even asking. It must be the pay-off for coming to visit him at yours or even that, yes he likes the whole family, blah, blah, blah, we ALL know.... He's MY cat. And I am HIS human:) (OK, OK, stop shouting at me - he will always be YOUR baby!)

Any way... I'm off for more cuddles. I hope you like getting longwinded updates?!

I hope you can open the photos. I will try to get more active ones for you soon."
