"Just a quick message to let you know Twix and Crunchie have settled in well and are currently sleeping after eating dinner. Both are able to squeeze into amazingly small spaces (under the settee on one occasion!) and climb all over the furniture, so we’ve had a fun day watching their progress. Thus far they haven’t been allowed out of the lounge as I want them to feel comfortable in one space before exploring everywhere else. Thank you also for letting us adopt two such sweet little balls of mischief which I’m sure will bring hours of happiness; something we will do our utmost to reciprocate. I’ll keep you posted with developments over the next few days as they continue to settle in.

A quiet day today all things considered. The kittens keep escaping from the lounge as soon as the door is opened a couple of inches and then proceed to run amok through the house followed by 2 adults and 2 kids in a vain attempt to re-capture them! Other than that they seem very much at home and look happy in themselves to be here (alternately playing and snuggling with us). Fidget is still only vaguely interested in these proceedings and prefers to be upstairs and out of the way for the most part but since he’s getting lots of extra attention as well we’re hopeful disinterest will turn to acceptance over the next week."
