Giving up this little man was certainly not easy. I think the only reason I was able to let him go was because his new mum and dad, Nicky and Karl, and the home they were offering is total perfection. We are so very grateful to Nicky and Karl for giving such a wonderful home to Thames (and Nancy Drew). Even though we shouldn't have "favourites", it is true that Thames was certainly a very special little boy and one whom I bonded more closely with than any of the other babies. He is such a happy, cheeky, loving child it was difficult to put him in the carrier. I know that he will be as loved with his new mum and dad as he was here and that is so important because Thames is one of those children who really thrives on love and attention from humans.

Thames is one of a kind, he's an incredibly special boy and I look forward to updates from Nicky and Karl as to how he matures and develops, both in personality and in looks. I know that he will bring them such joy. He is such a fun loving child who adores life and will give back as much love as he receives. Thank you so very much Nicky and Karl for having our babies, you are the special kind of family that we breeders look for when it's time to home our babies. We couldn't be more pleased with where our babies have gone.

We have now come to the end of yet another Schimmel kitten diary and I have to say that this was a difficult diary with regards to losing our beloved Ock when we did. I look back now and wonder how on earth I ever got through it. She was such a beautiful little soul and sometimes life just makes no sense at all.Our Water Baby diary is complete and I would like to thank all those who have taken the time to follow the progress from birth until now, and I would also like to thank each of those kind people who offered their support when we lost Ock. You know who you are.
