Day 55 - September 19, 2005
As you can tell by the first photo, some things never change and Cute T still continues his wrestling matches with the other babies. Although this is the first time I can remember him actually being pinned down by another baby and losing the battle. Also, if you look in the 3rd photo it is still so very easy to spot Cute T out of all the babies when they are together because his ears make him stand out a mile. It is hard to believe that they will both be 8 weeks of age tomorrow and I remember for the first few weeks' of their lives that I didn't think we get any of the the T's this far at all but these 2 have just been amazing and are coming along in leaps and bounds. Well actually, Cute T leaps and bounds everywhere, Mrs T is much more sedate.............at the moment.

Day 54 - September 18, 2005
I just looked over at Cute T and Mrs T and sighed. Not because anything is wrong but because I had just finished writing the other 2 diary entries when we heard a massive crash from the lounge room and then saw one of our lovely ornaments on the floor, in pieces! No guessing as to who the culprit was...............Tia Lusso! The reason behind me sighing at our 2 innocent babies is because Lusso is exactly the same mating as Cute T and Mrs T and she is now nearly 6 months old and gets more troublesome each day. As Mrs T will be staying here, the thought of having another one in the house like Lusso is rather scary. On reflection though, from what I have seen so far, it is Cute T who is going to be the mischievous one out of these 2 so chances are, it will be poor Cheryl and Andrew stuck with another "Tia Lusso" in the form of a male. I am sure though that whatever mischief Cute T gets up to, the love and cuddles he gives will more than make up for it :)

Day 53 - September 17, 2005

All entries are the same today.

This is a horrific day as we have lost Samba, with seemingly no apparent reason. He was way behind everyone else in the weight department by about 150grams and as mentioned in previous entries, he would not eat from the plate at all. He quite literally just dropped dead on us. It's so incredibly heartbreaking and what makes it worse is that this has happened when all our other downstairs babies are doing so brilliantly. They have massive appetites, they are little terrors and are so very active.

Day 52 - September 16, 2005
The entries today have gone on slightly later than normal because I had to wait until the babies were awake so that I could take photos of them. So far today, Mrs T and Cute T have been very good. They haven't made an awful lot of mess and have not climbed my legs once today. Instead, they have been doing the correct thing and climbing the scratch post and the pyramid. At one stage during the day Cute T fell off the radiator bed, onto the base of the scratch post below which did surprise him. He couldn't actually believe that for once, he had lost a battle. Within 2 minutes he was back up on the bed though trying to win another one.

Day 51 - September 15, 2005
This is a very difficult entry to write and not being anything else horrible has happened, but because my darling Mrs T is sitting on my lap, chewing my clothes and wanting to play, so after typing a few words, I keep having to stop to play with her. She can be very demanding of my attention at times and heaven help me if I were to ignore her invitations to play. Cute T now has a new game, similar to one of the events on the television show, Gladiators. He now climbs the pyramid and gets onto the top of one of the food tubs which he was taught to do by Twix, however, rather than just explore the tops of them all, he now waits until Twix joins him. He then wrestles with Twix and smacks him about until one of them rolls off the top of the tub (usually Twix). He thinks this is a great game and then lies crouched down on the tub, waiting for his next victim.

Day 50 - September 14, 2005

At the moment, everything seems so surreal. I am feeling really down about having now lost 2 of Sambuca's babies. As I said in Sami's diary entry for today, it all feels as if I'm just living in a nightmare right now and would just like to wake up and find that everything is okay. But the cold, hard facts are that this is not going to happen, and that we still have our Chocolate Bars, T's and Dancers, and to them, nothing has changed, life just goes on as per normal. In a way they are right, because even with the problems upstairs, unlike many other things in life, we can never just give up. Our cats and our other babies are still here, still creating havoc and are still very much a massive part of our lives and family. I am sure there must be a light at the end of the tunnel somewhere even though right now, this would appear to be a long way off.

Cute T and Mrs T are as mad and as normal as they can possibly be. Cute T is getting particularly loud when he wants attention now and he will walk up to you and sing at the top of his voice, or will climb my legs right up until he reaches my face and he will then scream in my ear. It could be for reasons like this that their mum's tend to get a bit annoyed with them at times :) Mrs T is just as sweet as ever and at this stage, she does not have the naughty streak that her brother has. This probably is not a bad thing though as Tia Lusso is naughty enough for 10 cats put together and another one like her would probably mean the destruction of our home :)

Day 49 - September 13, 2005 - 7 weeks old today!
None of today's entries are particularly long as I have been up all night with Sami's litter. Mrs T was really the only kitten who was bothered by me coming and going in and out of the kitchen all night with syringes and every time I went in there, she was up out of bed to see what I was doing, although knowing her, she was probably thinking she was going to get another meal! The poor Chocolate Bars and the Dancers were having a bit of a restless nap this morning after breakfast because Cute T was not sleepy at all so rather than go off and find something to play with, he instead started to pounce on all the sleeping babies and chew on their ears. This of course woke everyone up and next thing I knew, their were babies wrestling all over the bed and wide awake again. I will try and get some photos a bit later to add to the entries.
