Day 76 - November 15, 2007
Just like the Ray J's, our Chefs have been adorable little children today and they have been absolute angels. Of course it could just be that they all have a headache due to screaming girls in call and boys screaming back at them all night long. Being kept awake all night is enough to make anyone want to sleep during the day! It's really a very short entry today as it's already 1608 and I need to get the diaries online so I can get on with my afternoon bits and pieces.

Day 75 - November 14, 2007
How is it possible for our Chefs to create so much darn mess? They are such little babies yet every single morning the kitten room and upstairs landing looks like a war zone. You would think for all Gary's interest in the hoover every morning that he would actually give me a hand to tidy up! Even now as I am downstairs typing this entry I can hear the thundering of paws throughout the upstairs part of the home and I have no intentions of going up there to see what they are destroying now :) Whilst I am going to be quite sad when our Chefs leave us, their mother, Sambuca, will be pleased I think. She is finding them quite a handful now, because not only do her 6 children continue to feed from her, the Ray J's do as well and she is looking incredibly tired. If she wasn't calling at the moment I would actually move her back downstairs right away from her babies.

Day 74 - November 13, 2007
All 3 kitten diaries for today are "photo only" diaries sorry as one of our ladies went into labour this morning. As such, it's been a tremendously hectic day so far.

Day 73 - November 12, 2007
Today our Chefs have been quite well behaved little babies which probably means that come late afternoon or early evening, they will be absolute little monsters. I look at them sometimes and can't quite believe that in approximately 19 days the first of our babies will be leaving us and I really don't know that I will be ready for them to go. They are funny little children, extremely energetic and quite mischievous. None of them have a favourite food and they are happy to eat anything that I put down in front of them and between the Chefs and the Ray J's, quite a lot of JW kitten biscuits are being consumed.

Day 72 - November 11, 2007

Apologies for skipping 2 kitten diary entries however it's been very manic and the last few days have not gone as planned for one reason or another and today is the first time I've had the chance to sit down and get an entry online. We are also currently waiting for one of our ladies to go into labour and she was showing possible signs yesterday morning, however we are still waiting.

Gary has a new best friend in the form of "Izarra", our Bengal baby. For the past 3 days Gary has spent an awful lot of time downstairs playing chase with our adult cat family and with Izarra and having a wonderful time. It's so lovely to see him interacting so well with not only our own cats, but also with Izarra who is obviously a very different breed from Gary and is still quite new to our home. I have even seen them both sleeping together curled up in the little house on the scratch post downstairs and they look so adorable together. The rest of our babies do still come downstairs but not as much as Gary as they prefer to be with their mummies where the milk bar is still readily available. Not that any of them require the milk bar any more due to the fact that they all eat their home cooked meals, their wet commercial foods and their JW kitten biscuits. At this age it is more of a comfort thing and of course the problem is that our mum's are such very good mum's so they still continue to let the babies suckle despite their size and age.
