Day 22 - February 26, 2008

Again, diary entries are very short today with no photos as I am still trying to catch up with what wasn't done on Sunday when I was out for the day. I do seem to be making some headway now though so there should (hopefully) there will be photos in tomorrow's diaries as per normal.

Sambuca's "Hotels" are doing very well and even though they are not overly large children, they have no problems at all interacting with the older babies i.e. the 80's Group and the Archangels and as such, at some point next week I will open up the kitten room door and give the babies full house freedom. They still continue to be very energetic babies who love to run around and explore. I will hold off weaning them, if possible for at least another week because they are doing quite well on mum's milk and I don't feel that there is an urgent need to get them onto solids just yet.

Day 21 - February 25, 2008

All 5 diary entries are exactly the same today.

Many apologies for the lack of entries during the past few days. I could not begin to tell you just how incredibly busy it has been here during the weekend. We had a stream of visitors all day Saturday and then on Sunday, I was at a TICA cat show and had a fantastic time with some very interesting results. As such, today has been spent doing mountains and mountains of washing, and it's already 1419 and I'm only halfway through it. The problem with being away for just one day means that I have twice as much to do now. We also have our Indians who are in the throes of leaving us so I also need to spend quite a bit of time sorting out an awful lot of paperwork.

The babies were in Graham's care during my absence on Sunday and when I arrived home from the show that evening all the babies and mum's were doing perfectly fine and had coped extremely well without me. It will probably be another couple of days before I can manage to get some new photos online but I'm hoping that by the end of tomorrow afternoon I will have caught up with everything and will be back to normal.
