So much for having a break <sigh> Even though it should be too early to tell, my gut instinct is telling me that I have a pregnant girl in the house (not saying who yet) so it would appear that starting next week there will be a brand new Oriental pregnancy diary on the web site. Anyway, on to the matter of our beautiful Berries. At this age of their lives now, very little actually changes from day to day. Both of them are still having one wet meal of an evening and the rest of the time they are on the dry kitten biscuits, although once Blackberry leaves us on Saturday, Loganberry will be off wet food altogether, apart from random meals of cooked chicken/fish etc. One thing I have to say about both girls is they have their mother's vocal chords without a doubt. Whenever they want attention from me they will come and sit right in front of me and scream at me until I pick them up and cuddle them. They can be quite demanding but then again so is their mum. Speaking of Sambuca, I had to laugh last night because we were having "visiting time" in the bedroom, Loganberry was in Graham's clothes shelf, Blackberry had stuffed herself in my book shelf, and Sambuca jumped up onto my bedside cabinet and sat there for a good 5 minutes peering at herself in the mirror, making sure that she still looks beautiful. For anyone who is not aware, out of all the Oriental colours, I have personally found that the Blacks are the vainest.

I think this must be one of the first diaries that I've ever such had a major gap with no entries whatsoever. We currently have 2 major projects in the Schimmel home that we are undertaking, both of which are extremely time consuming and I have not had a spare minute at all to keep the diaries updated. Our Berries are doing so incredibly well. They sailed through their 2nd set of vaccinations with no effects at all which was fantastic. Blackberry still insists on "visiting" me at different times during the day and it's really funny because I'll be sitting here typing away when this gorgeous black baby springs up on my lap from nowhere. She will then start purring the minute I stroke her. As for her sister, well oddly enough, she is not quite as naughty as she used to be and she's fitting in really well with the rest of our feline family which is great. Both girls are extremely in dependant now and do not rely on each other very much. I'm hoping that for the remainder of the Berries 13 weeks (which is only 3 days!) , I will be able to get diary entries online again each day.
