Day 32 - February 26, 2008

Again, diary entries are very short today with no photos as I am still trying to catch up with what wasn't done on Sunday when I was out for the day. I do seem to be making some headway now though so there should (hopefully) there will be photos in tomorrow's diaries as per normal.

Nocello is such a honey and even now that her babies are 4 1/2 weeks old and becoming just that bit more independent, she continues to be a very proud and happy mummy. I really have been so surprised with how well Nocello has taken to motherhood and what an impact it has had on her temperament. Cells totally loves the world and every time I'm in the kitten room, she purrs constantly and just wants to be stroked. Her little Tarts totally adore their mummy and I am really pleased with their progress at the moment.

Day 31 - February 25, 2008

All 5 diary entries are exactly the same today.

Many apologies for the lack of entries during the past few days. I could not begin to tell you just how incredibly busy it has been here during the weekend. We had a stream of visitors all day Saturday and then on Sunday, I was at a TICA cat show and had a fantastic time with some very interesting results. As such, today has been spent doing mountains and mountains of washing, and it's already 1419 and I'm only halfway through it. The problem with being away for just one day means that I have twice as much to do now. We also have our Indians who are in the throes of leaving us so I also need to spend quite a bit of time sorting out an awful lot of paperwork.

The babies were in Graham's care during my absence on Sunday and when I arrived home from the show that evening all the babies and mum's were doing perfectly fine and had coped extremely well without me. It will probably be another couple of days before I can manage to get some new photos online but I'm hoping that by the end of tomorrow afternoon I will have caught up with everything and will be back to normal.

Day 28 - February 22, 2008

At 4 weeks of age I shall just wash my hands of the Tarts. They are bloody minded, stubborn little Fur Brats who do exactly what they want, when they want. Both of them remind me so much of their mother however she was at least 15 weeks old before she hit that tremendously stubborn "I will do as I please" streak. All I can do is hope that as they mature, they will calm down just a tad. What do you think my chances are of this happening? Seriously though, they are both little darlings but so full of energy and I don't think there is an inch of the kitten room that they have not explored. When it does come time for full house freedom I do not know how I will keep track of these 2!
