Our darling Capitals have now reached 13 weeks of age and I do look back and wonder where on earth the time has gone. How did our babies get from being such tiny, dependent little beings, into the mischievous, independent kittens that they are today? This does mean unfortunately, that for the time being, our Capitals kitten diary will come to a halt. The next update in this entry will be on Friday, August 24, as that the day that our babies will be having their 2nd set of vaccinations. After that of course, our children will start to leave us and on each day that one of our babies goes, then I will put another entry in the diary. Then of course when the last Capital leaves us, the diary will be closed off forever, although like the rest of our diaries, it will remain on the web site permanently. When I look at our Capitals, I know, sadly, that each of them really are ready now to leave us and bring love and havoc to their new families. As it stands at the moment, the first of our babies to leave will be Canberra as she will be leaving us on August 31, to go and live with Julie of Lorimnailie Siamese & Orientals.Port-of-Spain will actually be with us quite a bit longer as she will not be leaving home until towards the end of September, but by that time, well, by the end of August actually, we will have 2 new litters in the home and our older babies who are still with us by then, will more of less just be part of the family.
