As you can tell, our kitten diaries came to a sudden halt with no explanation and this is the briefest of entries as it's a struggle to sit at the computer for more than a very short time. To cut a very long story short, I was taken to hospital on Saturday evening with a severe urinary tract infection. Since then, I've been on antibiotics and 3 different types of painkillers, most of which I gave up on as they just made me so nauseous. From Saturday through until Monday I couldn't move, couldn't eat, could only drink water and it was only Tuesday lunch time that I started to feel slightly better. I am still a way off being well and as you can imagine until today, the bulk of the work involving cats and kittens has been left to Graham and Mo. It's going to be at least another few days before I'm functioning properly, at least I hope it is no more than that because this can not go on much longer, so I'm hoping next week, possibly sooner, I can start to get some entries back online as per normal but at the moment it all depends on my own health and what I'll be capable of. I'm still on the a/b's which are starting to work although the pain has not gone yet, but it is so much more bearable now. I rarely ever get sick because I just don't have the time, there is always too much to do, so this has come as a huge shock to the system. I really can not leave it at this without saying a very big thank you to Teen and Tone because they happened to visit us on Saturday afternoon and normally I love their visits so much but towards the end, I was struggling and Teen turned from being my best mate into being my "mum" and bullied me (as she put it) to go up to the hospital. Thank goodness she did. We are just so incredibly grateful to them both for everything they have done, their love and support, and their constant offers of help. I really can not put into words just how much they did for us or how great they have been but hopefully they know how much we love and appreciate them. I can tell you all that your fur children are all doing very well although unfortunately, they have not taken pity on me at all and are creating as much havoc, mess, and noise as they do when I am well.
