Day 83 - March 22, 2004
Darn Calisto! I'm not overly impressed with her at the moment as she came into the bedroom last night, hopped straight up on the bed and went to the toilet. She's the only girl that does it and how typical that it would have to be the one we are keeping :) Hera was rather upset last night and was following me around the upstairs of the house crying. Eventually she came into bed with us for a while where she settled down under the duvet which seemed to calm her down. It seems so strange to be doing just one diary now and just one set of photos. Obviously once the Little Warriors go I will have a great deal more time on my hands.............at least until our next litter. Gabby and Xena are fortunately being their normal selves and both girls have spent quite a bit of time today chasing a rolled up piece of paper around the floor. That is Gabby's favourite "toy" at the moment, whereas Xena's favourite toy is a little ball with a bell in it. They are all eating like there is no tomorrow but I must admit I haven't seen them eating any dry food for a little while. It's possible that is because they haven't been downstairs with me due to the kitchen work being done.

Day 82 - March 21, 2004
I really must try and get some photos of these babies at some point today and put them in the diary. As it is Mother's Day today, I had a bit of a sleep in and was lucky enough to get breakfast in bed. Naturally this meant that the babies didn't get their breakfast at the normal time. I am presuming this upset them quite a bit because whilst I was sitting up in bed, all I could hear were loud thumps as if something was being thrown against the door of the Kitten Room. The way they ran out of the room when the door was opened, you would think they hadn't been fed in a month. When I had a shower this morning, I had put the bath mat on the floor (it can't be left out as the Orientals destroy it), only to find when I went to step out of the shower, the mat had disappeared. There was just one small corner of it poking through from under the door. Obviously one of the girls had put their paws under the door and dragged the mat under that. I wasn't impressed with having to step on the cold floor. Not really sure who the culprit was either.

Day 81 - March 20, 2004
What a horrid day today as it marked the end of Tia's Kitten Diary. The last 2 Charmed Ones left to go to new homes today so it has been rather upsetting. I am sure that the Orientals are wondering where they white playmates have gone. They are also missing one of their "mums" now as Tia has been moved downstairs into general population now that she has no babies and she can concentrate on being a normal cat again, instead of being a mother. The Little Warriors received lots of extra attention this afternoon and this evening and they really loved that. I must say that it's now been proven that all the noise from upstairs does in fact come from the Orientals because when I was downstairs late this afternoon, all I could hear was thumps and bangs from upstairs. It's surprising how loud such tiny little babies can be. They were given an extra helping of dinner last night because when I was preparing their meal, I forgot that I now only have 4 babies left and had prepared enough for 6! Needless to say the girls didn't mind at all, nor did the 2 mums. Gabby and Xena had a better day than most because their new mums were over today to have a look at their babies and to give them lots of cuddles so they received quite a bit of attention.

Day 80 - March 19, 2004
It's been rather hectic today as work on the kitchen has now been stopped for the next 2 weeks which means I had to move what I could back into the kitchen which meant I didn't have a great deal of time for our Little Warriors today. The babies really are people cats in the respect that as soon as any of us open the door to go upstairs, if the babies are awake they come hurtling down the stairs to greet us. I tell myself that it's to say hello because they love us, and it's not just the fact that they want to be fed.

Day 79 - March 18, 2004
Fortunately, there was very little mess in the Kitten Room when I opened the door this morning so the Little Warriors must have behaved themselves for once last night. For some strange reason, the girls have reverted back to climbing up my legs which they haven't done for quite some time. I got quite a shock when Calisto started clawing her way upwards and I had to remove her rather swiftly. It's surprising the amount of damage those claws can do! Gabby has been very attention seeking lately and I'm not sure why. Like Phoebe, Gabby will come right up to me and talk until I pick her up.

Day 78 - March 17, 2004
I'm not sure who is responsible but I will blame the Little Warriors anyway, however, when I went into the kitten room this morning, half the water in their water bowl had been distributed across the floor. I am not sure how, who or why, but am positive it was one of the Ori's. Xena has really come out of her shell within the last week or so. She isn't quite as naughty as the others, however, she now enjoys cuddles the same as the rest of them do. Whereas she would let you pick her up and cuddle her, she never used to make the first move but fortunately this has now changed. Hera is still as mad as ever and both her and Calisto's favourite time of day is when we go up to bed and allow them to come in and "play" for a little while. Gabby is still the one most likely to right on my heels, or right in my face talking to me and telling me how her day went and what she's been doing. Even though she is as naughty as the others, she is the one who will settle down most when being picked up and cuddled. I think her mission in life is to see how long she can sit on my lap or in my arms before I eventually have no choice other than to move her.

Day 77 - March 16, 2004 (11 weeks old today!)
We've made it to the 11 week stage and all girls are doing well. I've also managed to include some photos so that should keep you all happy. The Little Warriors are still annoyed at me for confining them to the Kitten Room. I have told them that it's for their own good, otherwise the workman might accidentally let them out the door and we'd lose them, but they truly do not believe me. Again, it's Gabby & Calisto who are protesting the most. Hopefully we'll only have another couple of days of this and then we can get back to normal. Even though the girls are making good weight gains, I am truly convinced they are not growing. I'm sure they are, it's just that I don't seem to be able to see it like I could with the Siamese babies. We're in and out quite a bit today but at least I won't have to hear my babies moaning at me from behind closed doors. Gabby made it into the hand basin in the bathroom today, but naturally, she then had no idea how to get out! Naturally I came to her rescue and lifted her out and she hasn't gone back in since so it will be interesting to see whether or not she tries again.
